PK – 12 Addition/Renovation.
The Akron School District PK-12 Addition project is a 50,400 SF addition located in Akron, CO. This project was designed to LEED® certified standards (targeted Silver). As Commissioning Authority the RD3 Team will fulfilled (in progress) the following commissioning requirements:
- Design Peer Review of Mechanical, Electrical Lighting and BAS / Controls System
- Develop Construction-Phase Cx Plan
- Develop Cx Specifications
- Submittal reviews
- Incorporate Cx Activities into project schedule/maintain schedule
- Cx Meetings
- Write/Distribute Installation Verification Checklist (IVC) Forms
- Develop Functional Performance Tests (FPT)
- Coordinate/Witness/Perform Functional Performance Tests (FPT) of all mechanical/HVAC-R, lighting and plumbing equipment/systems
- Maintain Master Issues Log
- O&M Manual Review
- Develop the Measurement & Verification (M&V) Plan to meet the additional LEED EA credits.
- Compile a Commissioning Record (Final Cx Report)
- Review Training Requirements/Materials
- Post Completion 10 Month Warranty Testing
